SWAG Colleges & Education Session two field trip is on, Tuesday, May 21^st from 3:00-5:30 pm.  Come and take a campus tour of Cal State Long Beach; see what college life is really like and what Cal State Long Beach has to offer.  This is the last field trip of the school year!  

For those spending the whole day with us, we will provide you with a pizza lunch, drinks and some tickets for carnival activities!! It’s a win-win. You get your hours in AND have some fun! See attachment for more information.

Looking for athletic trainers for the upcoming 2013 Football Season. Lots of Fun! Service hours and behind the scenes access to all levels of the Cabrillo Jaguar football program. This is a great addition to any college application and excellent experience for both athletes and anyone who wants sports medicine training.  Anyone interested should see Coach Butcher in the Training Room located in the Hallway of the Big Gym Monday-Thursday after 3:00 p.m.

Our 11th annual 2012/2013 Student vs. Teacher Basketball Game is on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the BIG GYM. The record shows that teachers have won five games and students have won five. This game is critical. Open the attachment to see the starting teachers, bench warmers, referees, announcers etc. See you on Tuesday May 21st in the big gym at 3pm.

Any Cabrillo senior who has not cleared ALL fines and detentions by June 6^th will NOT receive their cap and gown, and will NOT participate in graduation ceremonies.  Fines must be cleared by June 5^th at the banker’s window between the hours of 7:30 and 3:30 daily.  Detentions must be cleared by June 5^th with Mrs. Galloway in OCS, room 1604. This information is posted on the Cabrillo Website and School Loop.

If any students are interested in the USC - Ostrow School of Dentistry, Dental Explorers Program, please see Mrs. Harmon in room 1003 for more information and an application.  Dental Explorers is a two-week internship program at USC that offers an exciting learning opportunity for motivated college-bound high school students. The program will run July 22 through August 2, 2013 (Monday through Friday only). The program will run from 8:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily and students are expected to participate in all sessions. See Mrs. Harmon if you have any questions.
