Congratulations to our Jags, champions of the El Rancho Water Polo Tournament last weekend. Our boys beat La Canada 7-4 in the final round and outscored and shut down opponents by scoring 46 to 15 goal aggregate. Go Jags...

The Jag Pass is available for purchase throughout the year.

It helps pay for many of the fun activities you (student) enjoy at Cabrillo. By purchasing your Jag Pass, you help support all athletics as well as many other events at Cabrillo. All athletes are encouraged to purchase the pass to support sports. The JAG PASS is not just for Athletes. It’s for ALL Cabrillo students. The Jag Pass supports:

  • Lunch activities
  • Assemblies, and much more.

First SLC water race lunch competition is on Friday, September 30th. Teachers will participate in this one. Come out and support your teachers and SLCs. Water is involved in this competition. See you there on the 30th


Attention Jags: Your Cabrillo Football Team is looking for Team Managers and Trainers. No experience necessary and open to all grades. Just have a good attitude. Anyone interested should come after 3:30 to the Football field and see Coach Butcher.


Calling all Jags! Are you wondering what type of college will be the best fit for you? Do you have questions about how much college will cost or how to get FREE money for school? If so, stop by and meet your full time college advisers, Ms. Alas and Ms. Kelly, any time Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, in the College and Career Center! They are here to help with ALL of your college related needs.


Homecoming is on Friday, October 21; the theme is 1990s.  Homecoming Court Applications are now available in the Activities Office.  Seniors may run for queen and king; juniors may run for princess and prince.  Applications are due Wednesday, September 28, 2016 by 3:10 pm. There is a mandatory meeting set for Monday, October 3 during lunch.  Homecoming Court will also be part of the Fall School-Wide Pep Rally on Friday, October 14.  Good luck to all.  There is a mandatory Club Advisor, Coaches and Boosters meeting on Friday, September 30 at 3:10 in the ASB room: 307.


The annual CELDT assessment will begin at Cabrillo on Monday, September 19th. The test will be administered in two parts.

Once a student completes the test, he/she will be sent to class.

Cabrillo High School is doing “Whatever it Takes!” to ensure that our students experience a challenging and rigorous standards-based education, with real world application, and multiple opportunities for work-based learning. Along with offering multiple accelerated and Advanced Placement courses, we also have a Project Lead the Way certified engineering program, a California Partnership Law Academy, and are certified as a California Democracy school. We have designed our school around four secondary specialized and two non-specialized Linked Learning Career Pathways. These Smaller Learning Communities provide Cabrillo students with multiple opportunities to explore career pathways and to attain the skills necessary to be successful in college and career.
