English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC)

The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) is a fantastic way for parents of English Language Learners to become involved in their child’s education at the school site level.  Each California Public School from K-12 grade, with 21 or more English learners must form a functional English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC).  The role of the ELAC is to advise the principal and School Site Council on programs and services for English learners.  The ELAC is to advise how EL funds are used to implement academic services for English learners.

Please plan on joining us at the first meeting to be held on

Tuesday, October 13th 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. in the Parent Center
