MISSION:Cabrillo Health Occupations and Careers strives to provide students the opportunity to explore and prepare for careers in the health professions and related fields. CHOC offers a supporting learning environment and collaborative education team that is committed to helping students develop the skills needed to be positive and productive members of society.

Health Occupations and Careers (CHOC) is committed to providing students with a rigorous academic program incorporating the A-G requirements with a technical focus on careers in the medical field. CHOC students have the opportunity to explore the world of high demand careers in health and human services through various Project Lead The Way courses in the Bio-Medical field, and by connecting with guest experts in the industry, job shadowing, and internship opportunities.  CHOC students also have the opportunity to earn college credit through Long Beach City College while in high school.

       Career /Pathway Information on Course of Study:
1. CHOC Student cohorts will be provided for each grade-level in order to provide students with more opportunities to participate in integrated projects across their pathway.
2. CHOC Students will be provided with a 4-year technical core of classes that are directly focused on their pathway.
